Old Kansas, Still Growing Tall

In light of recent Wichita/"big city" bashing that has taken place on some blogs that will remain nameless, I thought I would show some Wichita pride in this recent NY Times article that I just happened to catch today.

Wow you are quick! I just posted that about 5 minutes ago.

I wish that we could have gone to the Kansas Sampler in GC last weekend. It sounded like a lot of fun. I know my parents had a good time at it. But Jenny is too far along to travel.

We are looking forward to the River Festival though. I think the Fireworks are tonight. The boys will love that! You guys are welcome to come any time, you and Anna that is, not grumpy Wichita basher ;-) (He is too busy right now anyway)

He's been working 16 hours a day for a month now. Poor little boy. And if the only Wichita you saw every day was the Wichita news, you'd feel the same way. It's all Anita's fault.
